Jyotiba College of Physical Education was established in August 1991 by the Lokmanya Tilak Jankalyan Shikshan Sanstha to impart & provide co-education in the field physical education.
It is affiliated to the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "B" Grade - (CGPA Score 2.42 on a 4 Point Scale in 1st Cycle) on 5th January 2013.
The college is recognized and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bhopal and Govt. of Maharashtra.
